~Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class on your 1st visit to Downward Dog.
~Wear something comfortable. This means whatever is comfortable for you. Be prepared to sweat in most classes. Sometimes a loose-fitting t-shirt will go up over your head while doing Downward Dog pose. Clothes that fit snug to the body work best for yoga classes, but please wear something that is comfortable for you.
~You will need a yoga mat for yoga classes.  If you have a mat, you may bring it, otherwise we have mats available for students to use.
~Pilates mats are provided.Pilates mats are thicker and more cushioned than yoga mats to support the spine during Pilates. You are welcome to use your yoga mat if you would like. Bring a towel to place over the Pilates mat.
~Water & yoga towels are sometimes helpful in classes where you sweat. If you have a yoga towel or Yogitoes, please bring, water bottles are allowed in the studio for any class.
~You may register online by clicking on our 'Schedule' link. Registering online before class is not required, you can also register once you arrive at Downward Dog.

Classes that are recommended for Beginners or anyone New to Yoga:

YOGA FOR BEGINNERS is recommended for anyone "new to yoga". It runs as a 6-week session.  It is recommended to take the entire 6-week session; however walk-ins are always welcome.  This Class meets on Tuesdays at 7:15pm

YOGA 101 is a basic yoga class, teaching technique for basic yoga postures.  Perfect for anyone new to yoga!  This Class meets on Thursdays at 4:45pm

YOGA 201 is also a basic yoga class; it incorporates more poses and practices flowing from one pose to another.  Some yoga experience is recommended, but not required.  This Class meets on Tuesdays at 4:45pm


Breathe/Stretch/Relax  is a restorative yoga class.  Yoga postures designed to help you Breathe, Stretch and Relax!  You do not need any previous yoga experience.  This Class meets on Thursdays at 7:15pm and Sundays at 7pm


Parking:

Our lot in the front of the studio is very small & fills up quickly.  You are welcome to park to the side and to the back of Downward Dog.
